Sex Education Programs for People with Intellectual Disability: How Effective Are They?.

Abstract: A review of research on sex education for people with mental retardation finds a need for sex education due to a number of factors, such as deinstitutionalization, the increased incidence of sexual abuse, the advent of AIDS, and interest people with mental retardation have expressed in learning about sexuality.
